(Archived) Mac - Note Sort Order

Hi Everyone,

My notes default sort according to last edited.  In the forum I see references to changing the sort order under the "Note" list on the toolbar.  Unfortunately I don't see any way to change the sort order, either there or anywhere else.  Changing the subject name in the note doesn't help.

Do I need a Premium Account?  Is this a problem with the Mac version?  Any ideas would sure be appreciated.

Thanks!

In either of the list views, all you have to do to change sort order is clicking on the appropriate column in the bar just below the title bar. If you want to sort notes according to title column, you can just click the title, and it'll sort the notes alphabetically, click again to sort them in reverse order as indicated by the arrows.

Otherwise you can click on the view switcher button and change the sort order in the bottom of the menu.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. The sort order is found here (http://www1.pcmag.com/media/images/363579-evernote-5-for-mac-beta-card-view.jpg?thumb=y). You select the arrow next to "Sort by" and you can change the sort. If you use list view then it is much easier (http://www.christopher-mayo.com/?p=106).

[EDIT:] pgdahl beat me to it :)

For once. But only because I cut corners and did not offer any illustrations ;)

Great minds think alike, though. The list view is brilliant.
