I'm somewhat shocked Penultimate doesn't offer brown as a writing color, given how many others it offers. While I can see that little use would come out of writing, I often use the app to draw, and as brown is a neutral color that appears more often than one thinks, I find myself having to improve a little more often than I'd like. The app has two shades of gray; I'd rather see one gray and one brown, but that's just me. I'd rather not have to mix colors to communicate the color.
