New Feature: Word Count

Currently I use this program for more than notes, but a way to organise all my research and my chapters separately for my book. It works in a much more convenient way for me than Word. However the one feature that I am really missing is the Word Count feature. If Evernote.com were to have a Word Count feature it would make it a complete package for me.

They added Word Count last year.

I am a premium member, but am unable to find this view feature. is that possible a business only feature?

There are too many problems with the Business only version. I am a regular user.

 

Are you accessing the drop down options from the Evernote menu at the top of the window?

 

File - Edit - View - Note - Format - Tools - Help

I worked out the issue. I am a *****. Was only using it in browser. Did not realise there was a downloadable app for my pc. All good now. Thanks a lot

You're welcome.  This information might help other users who have the same question.

 

Personally, I find the Windows client version to be far superior to the Web version - from a speed and ease-of-use standpoint.

I was really scratching my head trying to find the word count feature as directions in an online search assured me is possible in Evernote. I wish Evernote would put it somewhere obvious - the fact that the word count feature is ONLY in the downloaded Evernote for PC program. I only stumbled upon that information by reading the comments of others who were having the same problem. 

 

Eureka folks! Download the program into your computer and THEN when you're done with your document just hit SYNC on the top toolbar and it will appear online.
