(Archived) Feature Request: Highlighter tool within notes

I am new to evernote, and very impressed.

but I often want to summarize or highlight essential info in my clippings.

The current html tools do not quite do the job.

We need a sticky button that will apply a background when selecting a block of text or content.

(I often like to use a table styles for such and don't want to have to jump back and forth from scanning text to clicking on the toolbar)

I imagine that this would not be to crazy to implement (at least on the desktop client), and would prove invaluable for value-added research, reference.
