(Archived) Web Clipper on Desktop requires sign in every time

Every time I want to use web clipper to save an article or URL I'm required to sign in.  It's annoying.  Even when I check "remember me", still signing in all the time.  I'm using WIndows 7, Firefox Brower (latest version) and the web clipper add-on. Any suggestions?

In Firefox under Tools > Options > Privacy, check your settings for cookie retention.

 

I have mine set to Keep Until I Close Firefox, which means those cookies don't get retained.

For the case where I do want to keep a cookie, I will change the setting to Keep til they Expire, get the cookie, close firefox, reopen it, and change the setting back. Once a cookie is saved this way, it sticks around.
