Qlaras 1
Trying to get started using the http://www.thesecretweapon.org/ 's take on GTD + EverNote. I use Outlook 2013 at work, and most of our email is signed (per internal policy) - when I am viewing any such email, I am unable to use the 'Add to Evernote' button that was added to Outlook when I installed EN initially. Little bit of searching didn't turn up anything, is there a fix or workaround for this? (This will likely also crop up on any encrypted emails for those who have some; I won't be adding those to EN) Thanks in advance for any and all help! Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,070 Posted May 20, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted May 20, 2013 Hi - welcome to the forums. Have you tried your Evernote account email address? You can forward emails that way... Link to comment
Qlaras 1
I tried that after I made the initial post, and it does work - just was hoping I could use the button that lets me pre-tag things before it hits Evernote, and/or it could get 'fixed' so it could work in the future. Guess I'll just have a slightly more manual method for now, oh well. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,070 Posted May 20, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted May 20, 2013 Remember you can preselect the title, notebook and tags for your note-by-email (as long as they already exist) by putting "your title @notebook #tag" (without the quotes) in the subject line. You can also save a few @notebook #tag combinations in a note to copy/ paste into emails to speed things up. Link to comment
