S_Hillam 10
I started out using a tag "Prof dev" for one of my notes. Then, decided to use something different. (It was the only note where I had used that tag.) Now, "Prof dev" continues to show up when I select tags...and I can't find any way to remove it from the internal master list of tag names. Is there a way to purge/delete it or am I stuck with it forever? Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted May 13, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted May 13, 2013 I believe that most Evernote clients will let you delete tags. Certainly the Windows client will, as does the Web client. Link to comment
S_Hillam 10
Jefito: That's great news...but you failed to tell me HOW! I am using Evernote on my Windows 7 desktop pc running IE9 as well as my iPad mini...and so far, I've not figured out a way to do anything but add new tags and check and uncheck them within my notes. I am using the free version. Does it require an upgrade to Premium to do this perhaps? Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted May 13, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted May 13, 2013 I didn't tell you how because you never said which client that you are using -- the method of deleting a tag differs between clients. On the Windows client, right click on a tag in the left panel, and select "Delete...", or select the tag and press Del. This is not a premium feature. Link to comment
