seltzer8 1 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Hello all, I see that some residential-grade Canon products are compatible with Evernote. Does anyone have any information on scanning into/printing from Evernote using Canon commercial-grade equipment (imageRUNNER/imageRUNNER Advance)? Any help is very much appreciated. -Jon
Evernote Expert gazumped 12,631 Posted May 8, 2013 Evernote Expert Posted May 8, 2013 Hi Jon, welcome to the forums. You don't mention which OS you're using, and I have no experience of Canon commercial equipment with Evernote - but let's not let that worry us If your hardware can get an image or a PDF file saved to a hard drive, it can be imported into Evernote regardless of other considerations. I have used Canon business stuff separately from Evernote and its my experience that the scanning and OCR process is pretty high quality and saves the results to user drives. You'd need to alter the scan settings to try out scanning direct to Evernote, and whether or not you'd have the permissions to do that is another matter. Evernote is free software though, so you lose no skin in trying it out... Hope that helps.
seltzer8 1 Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Thank you for the response gazumped. I have downloaded the software and am going to test its application on the equipment in my showroom. Regards!
