I add some text to a new note, make some format changes, then select a different tag to find and copy some additional info, and when I get back to the original note - EVERTHING HAS GONE. TWICE. I even used Ctrl-S to force a save 2nd time - and it still lost my edits! No conflicting Changes, just gone. Incredibly annoying. Where's the damn save button? Link to comment

Unfortunately, when you paste them into a note, they are completely invisible, give you no warning, but render the note unsaveable. Not good. Link to comment

Dunno how easily fixable this is -- if you're asking Evernote to filter out control characters, that's one thing -- it probably shouldn't be allowed -- but the control strings themselves are probably not what you're going to want to see in your note text, at a guess. Did you try "Paste as Text", rather than just a plain paste operation? Link to comment
