Writchey 0
I follow the microsoft procedure for copying files to a CD and everything seems to work OK. But, the database file copied to the CD will not open. Error message is "File Access denied" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306524 I'm not sure about the ENI, ENL, and ENR, files. Do I need these ? engberg 89
Those files appear to be from the old Windows-only version of Evernote (version 2). If you're still using that version, then I think you might need to copy the files off of the CD onto a read-write hard drive before you can open them into Evernote. Our software expects to be able to write to its databases. Link to comment

engberg 89
Actually, we released version 3 last year, you may want to try importing into the new version to try it out:http://www.evernote.com/about/download/You can install this without uninstalling version 2, to see whether it suits your needs.
