Luckymethod 0
I owned the scanner for a week and I'm, so far, shocked by the dismal experience with my P-215. The software for Mac is a joke, shows all the telltale signs of "aftethought development" and is very buggy. I haven't been able, so far, to make the Evernote integration work properly and Canon's support website is itself a joke. I also read that the scanner should be able to work with only one cable when using USB 3, but it's not the case with my MacBook Pro Retina. I tried to register my product and the form asks if I have a "token ring" network. They obviously care about their customers and put a great deal of effort in keeping that thing up to date... Summary, you're better off with the Fujitsu ScanSnap or whatever else. Link to comment
eyedewit 0
I had the same problem. Do not buy the P-215 if you have a mac and hope to use it with Evernote. I feel it is a disservice that Evernote promotes this product when it doe snot serve Mac users. Link to comment
Chunter 0
I'm surprised by these comments. The cheaper P-208 scanner works beautifully on my Mac with the CaptureOnTouch software (version 2.1.12). Link to comment
