ticktock01 2
When I find a webpage I want to save I click on the extension icon and everything looks fine. However, when I go into Evernote, the tags are not listed and the webpage is not saved. No problem on Firefox. That works fine. I have the Save to Evernote option checked.I re-installed a couple of times, but I am still having the same problem. Link to comment

ticktock01 2
Well, it's been almost 2 weeks since I was asked to provide some troubleshooting info for technical support. I still don't have a solution to my problem. If I don't hear from technical support in the next day or so I will just uninstall Evernote and download Springboard or Catch. I am not that heavily invested in Evernote, so it won't be a major inconvenience for me to change. Poor support is something I won't tolerate. Link to comment
jbignert 473
Just to be clear - this is not the primary support channel. You can get help here from other users and employees. Please file a support ticket:https://evernote.com/contact/support/#/product/evernote Link to comment
dan7000 26
Wow, what a helpful and friendly response from an Evernote employee! </not>. I have been a premium subscriber for years now, and I used to frequent the forums years ago, and was always impressed by the responsive and helpful replies that we got from Evernote employees - particularly CTO Dave Engberg who used to reply to dozens of threads a day. The forums were one of the main reasons I stuck with Evernote. Now, I have this problem with the web clipper, and I log on to the forum to find some EN employee who apparently posts replies on threads for the sole purpose of scolding his customers for not giving enough information and then for using the wrong "support channel." Why are you even posting at all if you are just going to scold people? I see threads with dozens of people complaining about the web clipper not working. THAT is what the forum is for - to let the company and the customers know when there is a serious problem, and to spark dialog between the customers and the company to help figure the problem out. But apparently not anymore. Now we just post on here and a number of other threads that the clipper is broken and we get a black hole or worse: a scolding by jbignert Clearly, this is a bad sign for Evernote - the formerly customer-centric forums are no more. The web clipper is totally non functional and if I want help I can't use the forum or I'll be scolded. I have to send a request into the notoriously useless support ticket system, where their first question will be "give me all your logs" even though we all know my windows logs have nothing to do with the Chrome clipper. Like I said, I got into Evernote years ago because of the great forum responses. Perhaps it's time to think of getting out for the same reason. I hope Dave E is watching what jbignert's attitude on the forums is. Link to comment
jbignert 473
I'm sorry if the tone in my response came of as scolding, that was never the intention. Link to comment
ticktock01 2
jbignert,I personally did not find the tone of your response scolding. However, I found your response unhelpful and, as it turns out, useless. I did as you suggested and filed a support ticket. I filed the ticket on April 29th, a little more than a week ago. I still haven't received a response. At this point I really don't need the response. I've downloaded Springboard and I will be using it instead of Evernote.. Link to comment
