Rogerious 0
Every time I open Firefox the Clipper starts clipping then goes away. I've been using Evernote clipper for many months and it has never done this. I don't know that much about it to troubleshoot this problem. A couple of months ago, somewhere I read to try clearing the cache. I think I tried that, but it obviously didn't work. While it doesn't seem to be clipping anything, and it works fine when I intentionally clip, it's becoming quite an irritant. I appreciate your suggestions and fixes. R, Link to comment
jbignert 473
Hi Rogerious,- What FF version, OS version and Clipper version are you using?- Does this happen on every URL?- Do you have other extensions installed? That will help me find the issue. Link to comment
Rogerious 0
I think I have (laptop's at home) FF 18 on Windows XP sp3. I'm not absolutely certain about the clipper version, I've had it for about a year without any problems. But I'm using Evernote 4.6.4. This only happens when I bring up the browser. When FF opens, the page is faded and the "Clipping" message appears for a second or two then goes away; just as if you where clipping the web page. After that all is fine. This happens every time I open the browser - with Google as the default page, The extension I have is Tab Mix Plus. I have no other toolbars... Link to comment
jbignert 473
Thanks for the details, we'll look into the issue. If you can get the Web Clipper version number that would be additional help. Link to comment
