(Archived) Why PASS WORD is displayed?

It is so questionable....

 

If PASS WORD has been set up,

when open the app,

always required to enter/type PASS WORD.

It is OK for the user to keep the contents from third man.

But,question here is why the PASS WORD is displayed in the monitor?

if displayed,anybody around can see it,right?

 

What is the use of "PASS WORD"?
