I am not sure if anyone has been having this issue but I have this issue pop up more often than I would like. My Evernote on my Mac refused to sync properly and the only way to use it right now is on the iPhone or the Web. I don't see the point of having a desktop app that won't work as smoothly. This issue has been popping up at least 4x since January and always during important times!

 

The last time I reported this issue, I had to go through 3 different customer service officers before 1 decided to reset my account or something.

Sorry to hear that. What version of Evernote and Mac OSX are you using?

 

Can you provide specific steps you took to reproduce your sync error? This will help us figure out what went wrong.

Evernote version: 5.0.7 (400995)

Mac: 10.8.3

 

The first time I had this problem was when I upgrade Evernote from 4 to 5. Second time I had this problem was when I was just writing notes down and sync it afterwards in the day. Second time I was using it was when I was using my iPhone Evernote app and sync it but the Mac Evernote app won't sync the data. After that, it just randomly popped that error whenever I tried to sync.

 

This current one was when I renamed and edited the notebooks and notes. When I tried to sync it, that error popped up. I have no idea why it does that and another problem is that when I wanna share a new Notebook, I will get a spinning ball of death on the Mac and the app stopped responding.
