dspapps 6
I have a problem renaming business notebooks. This seems to be relating to sync. Steps to reproduce: 1) Create a business notebook called 'Bert'2) Add it to a notebook stack3) Rename the business notebook to 'Ernie'4) Add notes to the notebook5) Click Sync (I want to generate links...) Result = My notebook is named back to 'Bert' again for some reason. To fix the problem I have to rename 'Bert' to 'Ernie' for a second time. Bug reported. Link to comment
C6REW 416
Hi again dspapps! Without trying it myself - in work and busy! I think the problem may be you need to sync before making the change. So create 'Bert', add it to a Notebook stack, then sync. Then rename it to 'Ernie' add Notes and sync again. Just guessing and it would be what I would try first. If you have not tried by the time I get home I will have a try for you. Best regards Chris Link to comment

dspapps 6
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately those steps don't work. Windows XP PC 4.6.4.8136 Steps: 1) Create a business notebook called 'Bert'2) Add it to a notebook stack3) Rename the business notebook to 'Ernie'4) Sync manually and wait for it to finish5) Add notes to the notebook The business notebook changes back to Bert by itself while I am adding the notes to the notebook. Subsequently I deleted the notes from the notebook now called Bert. What I am left with is an empty business notebook I cannot delete or leave. The 'Leave Notebook' option is greyed out in the right button context menu. Any suggestions what to do next? (I have tried syncing) Link to comment
C6REW 416
Hi dspapps, Home now and when Evernote boots up I will give it a try and see what I get. Oh, to delete the Notebook you need to go into the Admin Console. Best regards Chris Link to comment
C6REW 416
Hi dspapps, Using Windows 7 and Evernote 4.6.4.8136 Went through exactly as you have listed and Ernie is still with me! When you created Bert, did you try and sync then before you changed the name to Ernie? I didn't by the way, I did the same as you did. But it is worth trying the sync before you change the name.
