(Archived) Will Moleskine Android app work with any Moleskine notebook

I know that the special paper greatly enhances the readability of the text, but if I use the new Android app with a regular Moleskine notebook, will it still work, even if not as good quality?  Will the text recognition work at all?

 

Edit: got the update and was trying out the camera feature on my existing Moleskine, and it seemed to be going fine until page 15 or so of a multi-page project and it crashed.
