(Archived) Evernote Desktop Application randomly 'hiding' on Mac OS 10.6.8

I use Evernote for everything, and sometimes when I click on something (anything can trigger it), the Evernote client will just hide itself. It seems like a bug, anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? I dealt with it for a while (months), but it's getting really annoying now.

Evernote Version 5.0.7 (400995)

 

It happens when clicking on note or notebook titles or headers in the 'shortcuts'

This happens to me as well. I notice it a lot when I'm going through notes and doing a lot of tagging. I can't really reproduce it. It just seems to occur when doing continual repetitive things in Evernote.  I'm on EN 5.0.7

on OS X 10.6.8
