(Archived) Advance Search Question: A AND B OR C AND B

Hello everyone,

Is there an advanced search expression for the following:

Show me all the "MEMO" notes for both "COMPANY_A" and "COMPANY_B" tags

in boolean terms this would be:

tag:COMPANY_A AND tag:NOTES OR tag:COMPANY_B AND tag:NOTES

There is a two step solution on evernote, but i would rather have a saved search for the whole thing:

create a saved search for "tag:COMPANY_A tag:COMPANY_B" and then click on the "NOTES" tag

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Ali

Arbitrary boolean logic isn't supported in the search grammar ... you can use the "any:" or "all:" operator at the beginning of the search to either do a global AND (the default) or a global OR.
