(Archived) "Taming the Elephant" Evernote tips and tricks on Mac Tuts+

Ran across this article today on Mac Tuts+, which has a pretty awesomely diverse set of "advanced" techniques you can use to help tame your Evernote account, which can often take to running wild on the Serengeti, taking mud baths, or helping you manage your wine selections.  A lot of these pertain to Mac (see Applescripts section) but a lot of them can apply to your Evernote account generally, such as advanced search grammar, merging accounts, templates, and IFTTT.

 

I would not suggest using any of these on a real elephant.
