(Archived) Unfixed security issues in 3rd party apps

Hi, We all know that Evernote reset the password for its various apps ( stock evernote, penultimate, skitch) etc across all its devices. But, there was one third party app which i used to install evernote on my gmail account. Although, i have not updated the password for this 3rd party app, i find that notes which i was updating today are still visible in my gmail account. Shouldn't EN be forcing 3rd party apps also to do a password reset or atleast a re-auth with EN's changed password?
