(Archived) Evernote deleting note content when manually saving?

As the title suggests, Evernote for android is occasionally deleting the content of active/open notes and then crashing after I press the "save" button on my Nexus 7. This has happened at least 5 times in the last 15 note taking sessions. Sometimes I only lose a few sentences, other times I lose huge portions of lectures. Usually, I am connected to the wifi and I am always using a bluetooth keyboard. Do you have any advice so that I can avoid losing portions of my notes mid lecture?
