Handwriting to text

I got Penultimate to go with Evernote because of the "handwriting recognition" feature. I had a tablet computer once upon a time (Windows XP) that would allow me to handwrite on the screen and the software would convert it to text. Since the technology is out there already, any plans to incorporate it?

+1 here too.  7notes for Mazec (which is capable of this) is damnably expensive; even more so if you purchase the Evernote attachment.  After buying an iPad, my wallet is bare.
