(Archived) Want to pload from my phone to EN, but not download as I don't have space

I want my notes on my phone to upload to Evernote, but do not want to download everything to my phone as I do not have room. Can I do this?

Yep,  no problem.  Your phone doesn't download the full database,  it just puts any existing notes you want to view into temporary storage while you're viewing them,  and new ones after you have collected them and until they are uploaded.  You should use a desktop client too though so you have a local copy of your database - it's dangerous (IMHO) to have all your data on someone else's computer and out of your control,  no matter how reliable the company.

 

Bear in mind you can only view or upload when you have a data connection.

Thanks Gazumped. I thought it downloaded the whole lot. I don't intend to use the Android app for recalling any notes, just for getting them onto my PC.
