D Clark 0 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Is Evernote going to introduce a capability for tagging within notes? OneNote has this feature and it's the one reason that I won't abandon it completely. I sometimes take long notes that touch on many different subjects, and when searching for one of those subjects later it would be convenient to have a tag that just pulls a sentence or a paragraph from the note instead of seeing the whole note again.

But who knows, Evernote might change their minds and their architecture. However, they do not usually reveal feature roadmaps ahead of time, at least until they are ready for beta.
HerbyDE 101 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 But it would be a nice idea if I could - like catch notes oder simplenotes - write my text and #sign out single words. In this example "#sign" generates a tag "sign". Very fluid typing :-)
