Kristy Ann 0 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Hello, I recently purchased a Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500. I have been having issues with scanning multiple page documents to Evernote. Generally, 1 page documents upload to Evernote as expected; however, multipage documents result in the dreaded "Failed to startup Evernote for Mac" error. I have followed two suggestions posted elsewhere in the forums about this topic. I have reinstalled both Evernote (direct from evernote.com) and the ScanSnap software. The save location for ScanSnap was preset to a place within my Pictures folder. Does anyone have a suggestion? I am feeling foolish for spending the money for the scanner. Thanks.
LC2 0 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I just got an ix500. Are you scanning to jpeg or pdf?
Evernote Expert gazumped 12,630 Posted April 3, 2013 Evernote Expert Posted April 3, 2013 Don't know if this is relevant, but I found scanning multi-page documents to Evernote could be a problem in Windows with an S1500 because the scanner creates a file immediately the scan commences which prompts Evernote to try to add it to a note. The Scanner won't play because it's still adding pages, and confusion ensues.
