rainerschnelle 4
Has anyone at Evernote ever thought of the idea of implementing a speech-to-text feature? Web services like Jott and Dial2Do show that it can be done with a decent level of accuracy and I think that would fit nicely with the direction Evernote is going. What do you think? Link to comment
engberg 89
We currently recommend that users use something like Dial2Do to just transcribe and then mail to your "incoming email address" (see the Settings page on the web). Quite a few people have reported good results with this combination. These companies typically employ a combined solution that involves some machine transcription combined with rooms full of people to get acceptable results from noisy inputs like cell phones. Managing a dedicated team of transcribers is a bit ambitious for us right now, so we're steering people towards integrations that work well already. However, we're not ruling out doing something like that in-house some day. Thanks Link to comment
