(Archived) Speed of the desktop client 5.0.5

Hi,

 

I have some serious speed issues with 5.0.5 (and also with 5.0.6 beta2). I don't have that much notes in my database yet but it is sluggy like hell. Is this a normal behavior for this version?

 

Some issues are:

• Deleting a note with backspace takes seconds, and sometimes it even deletes 2 notes, cause it has read the key a second time or so.
• Switching between notes takes sometimes seconds too. And these notes are not that complex or large. Just text and nothing else.
• Switching notebooks also takes a lot of time.

I am using a current MacBook Air. Speed of the computer is no problem.

 

Any ideas? Help?
