(Archived) Penultimate and the iPad Mini

Hello All,

 

I am considering buying a new iPad Mini and want to know if anybody is using Penultimate with it.  What have your experiences been, is it too small to use effectively with Penultimate?

Just dumped my mini and went back to iPad 3. Mini is a great tablet but I found it was just too small to write on. Plus I missed the Retina display more than I thought.

I use Penultimate with an iPad Mini and find it works just fine with a few caveats. First, I use the Jot Pro stylus, which makes it much easier for me to write in general, but particularly in Penultimate since there is no zoom. You may not be able to fit as much on a page as you would with a full sized iPad, but you can make up for that with more pages I understand that isn't ideal for some uses, but it works for me. One thing I have noticed in my use is that because of the reduced screen area it is easier for me to get to all areas of the page without accidentally resting part of my hand on the screen. Hope this helps. (As an aside, the retina iPad screen is really nice.)
