(Archived) Can Evernote tags be seen by other applications?

Hi all.

 

I'm venturing into tagging most of my files on my Mac, as I have thousands needed for research. I also have been using Evernote for the last year or so, and would love to find a way for my Evernote tags to be included in my tag searches on my computer. Is there a third-party app or software that can read Evernote tags? Or will I actually need to export from Evernote somehow to get the tags visible outside of Evernote?

There isn't a way that I know of. You would need the third-party app to scan through your database and recreate the mapping.

Thanks very much for the reply; that is what I thought. Not a super big problem, of course.
