Joseph D'Souza 0
You have no idea how hard it is to get an answer from Evernote support. In the last six months this is my repeat request: Is it possible please forsomeone to actually read, seek to understand the issue I have as describedrepeatedly and variously and actually make an attempt to solve this?? I am apremium customer but your responses to date do not reflect that service. Both my Asus tabletand Sony Ericsson smart phone have the original downloaded free aps which alsosync’d well with my Toshiba down loaded free application. Some months ago (asI previously reported to Evernote without any response even after severalticket lodgements) they stopped syncing. I continued touse the Tablet ap in my business for meetings with much productive use thoughwithout the ability to sync – hence somewhat defeats the productivity features. I have upgraded toPremium and via the web access can see the common premium ap. My issue is that theAps on my tablet and phone do not sync with the premium solution and I doneed both of these for both on-line and off line access. As previouslyadvised, in deleting the corrupted note (an audio file using Evernote) I stillhave the same issues. Questions: Is there a way totransfer the data in the tablet and phone app to the Premium account? THISIS MY CRITICAL ISSUE AND IS MOST URGENT IN THESE EXCHANGES. Is the Premiumaccount only accessible via the Browser? What is the look andfeel on the Tablet and Phone so different from the Premium? I really like thelook and feel of the Tablet ap – though if this is redundant, then I have to gowith the flow. Very many peoplealso share my issue though they are a mix of free and Premium. All complainthat Evernote is not interested in support. Do I need differentPremium on all my devices? This does not sit well with the Evernote marketingmessages. Is have multiplesupport consultants value adding to solve this problem i.e. Do I have tokeep repeating the same problem in different ways? Level 5* GrumpyMonkey 4,318 Posted February 21, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted February 21, 2013 Hi. Welcome to the forums. I am not customer support, but perhaps I can help. (1) There is only one app available on each client (Android, Windows, etc. ). The Premium membership offers certain benefits (larger monthly upload amounts, etc.), but the app is exactly the same for free and premium members. (2) Each client is designed by different teams to take advantage of their respective environments (Web, Windows, Mac, etc.), so they will not look the same. However, they all have the same basic functionality. (3) It sounds to me like you are seeing your notes on the Web at www.evernote.com. I wasn't sure, though. Can you confirm that you are seeing them there? (4) Could you post your ticket numbers here? That will help Evernote staff follow-up. Hang in there! We'll get this sorted out Link to comment
Amie Harpe Longstreet 12
Hi Joseph, I can understand your frustration with a technical problemthat you cannot get resolved quickly. Iam sure you have tried this, but have you tried uninstalling Evernote from eachof your devices and then reinstalling the most current version from the Evernotesite? I currently have Evernote syncingwith the work and personal laptops (Windows), my Samsung Galaxy, my husband'sWindows laptop, his iPad, and his iPhone. Several months ago I unexpectedly started having a problem syncing onone of my Windows laptops. I completelyuninstalled Evernote, including finding where the data is stored and deletingthe database too; if you just uninstall the application, it still leaves thedatabase so I removed the database too because just reinstalling the app didn'twork. After completely removing the appand database and reinstalling the current version, I was able to syncagain. It took a few hours to resync becauseI had over 10,000 notes at that time. Ifyour web account is up to date with all of your notes, then perhaps thissolution will help you and you won't lose any data; but if you have notes onyour device that have not synced up to the web, then you would lose those noteswith this approach. Good luck. I hope this is helpful. Amie Link to comment

Amie Hi Amie, I think there is some good advice there, but I want to caution against doing that in this case, because it is not clear that everything is properly synced. I hope we will hear back from Joseph about the details of the problem, and that he posts his ticket number for support to help him out. Link to comment
