I use Evernote to take class notes, and I would like to record audio for lectures. However, I also keep my reading notes, class handouts, etc., in Evernote, and the recording stops whenever I need to reference those notes, even if I open the note with the recording in a new window.
In the meantime, I'm recording notes in a separate program and adding them to Evernote. But it'd be really cool if either (a) Evernote could keep recordings going in background notes or ( the recording function hung out in the left sidebar, separate from notes altogether, and either created a new note or let me choose which note to add the file to when it was done.
