(Archived) Constant compatibility problems with Firefox - why ?

For a long period (or as long I can remember) everything working great between Evernotes web clipper and firefox. Only minor incompatibility problems with some other plug-ins, but normally solved relatively quickly. But since the release of FF17 the problems started and as soon they where fixed by web clipper version 4.5.1 - they respawn in FF18 ( released Jan-8-2013). All this destroy my love to both FF and Evernote web clipper and delay me in my work and my activities. Is this a ongoing circus ? and if so - is the solution then to postpone all updates, until enough users have tested it and all urgent fixes are done ?
