(Archived) Opening Evernote from Dock opens both the app and a login window

I have the current version of Evernote in my dock on OS X (Mountain Lion) for easy access. If it is not in memory, when I click the dock icon (once), I get both a login window, and shortly thereafter, the Evernote app. Both stay on the screen, and the app is active and logged in.

Any idea why I'm seeing the extra login window?

I used to get this all the time, and reported it often, but recently (the last update?) it is gone. I have no idea why.

No. If Evernote is not in memory, it always happens. If Evernote has previously been started, and the window closed, it does not happen. Evernote version 5.0.4 (Mac).
