etand 0
Hi,I am contemplating between purchasing a Kindle or Sony e-Reader.The Sony has the advantage of Evernote. For me, a writer, I need the capability to write on the go, when I have only my e-Reader with me.Will the Evernote allow typing text up to 5000 words at a time (short stories)? Will this feature be enables with the version installed on the Sony PRS-T2 ?Is Evernote compatible with any other e-Reader (e.g Kindle Paperwhite or Nook)?Thank you,Etand Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,040 Posted January 4, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted January 4, 2013 Hi - welcome to the forums. While Evernote will allow you to type a large text-based note, it's not the world's best word processing software; you may find the interface lacks formatting or layout options you would want to use. And as for compatible - you store information in Evernote so that it can be indexed and displayed in Evernote. The file type is not compatible with anything other than Evernote, unless you export the content, when it can be saved as HTML - which would be compatible with some e-readers. Best suggestion is to carry out some tests for yourself. Link to comment
