BurgersNFries 2,407
You should download the free version of Revo uninstaller & use that. There are some bits left In the registry from a previous installation of Evernote on that computer. Link to comment
roschler 158
You can also get that error if the administrator installed a copy of Evernote and you try to install it from a non-Administrator account. Sometimes this happens by accident if you yourself installed Evernote and used "Run As Administrator" to do it, or if you are also the administrator on that PC and installed a previous version while you were logged in as the Administrator.-- roschler Link to comment
Eliyahu 1
Revo does not find evernote listed as installed program so I cannot uninstall it. I am the only user account on this computer and I am the administrator. Any other ideas? Link to comment

Eliyahu 1
I downloaded the trial version of powerdesk at http://www.avanquest.com/USA/software/powerdesk-pro-8.5-158514?meta=PC-Utilities&cat=PC-Tools and found that I had a version of evernote installed by my wacom tablet that did not even show up in my programs list! I removed the wacom software and then I was able to install evernote. Link to comment
