I haven't done anything to remove ads in Evernote, nor am I on a paid plan, but I dont see ads anymore after installing the new version.

Where did they go?

Sadly, we seem to have lost our ads. I used to leave them on sometimes just to see what Evernote had to say. You'll have to use Windows if you want to see the ads.

This has to be the first time this has ever been said on the internet, ever.

LOL. I know. But I work in marketing so I was a bit sad to see the ads go too.

Do you know if ads will come back to Macs anytime soon?

I'll send you occasional screenshots from my Windows account. Maybe we can start a shared notebook of Evernote ads. Keep the ads alive!

@gbarry - If there ever was a testament to Evernote's popularity, that is it!

@GrumpyMonkey. That got a big belly laugh from me. How about this, I'll start a 24/7 Google Hangout that just beams our ad Windows to the suffering users that don't have any ads, and automatically takes snapshots that end up in a Lulu e-Book they can download and make Wallpapers from!

You can take away our colors, you can take away our customizable toolbars, and you can take away our saved search editing, but you'll never take away our ads!

Rise up, ye sea slugs, and take back your rightful place as consumers not only of upload allowances, but of marketing!

We even have a potential business model and integration in the works :)
