(Archived) saving to evernote from apple ibooks / amazon kindle

I read a lot of ebooks on both my iphone and my PC.

wouldn't it be great to be able to convince apple and amazon to adapt their technologies to allow to save notes created in evernote directly to apple ibooks and amazon kindle?

So me being an apple and kindle peasant, what format files do they read? And can't you already get a file converter for PDF and other file types to one or both?
