(Archived) Have not gotten Evernote to work since the upgrade

Hi since the upgrade to the new version of Evernote I have not been able to use Evernote at all. My toolbar clipper disappeared and the app won't launch at all. I am using OS X Lion 10.7.5 If I uninstall Evernote and then try and reinstall it will I still have all of my notes and notebooks?

Any help greatly appreciated, I really miss using this tool!

Try downloading from here: http://evernote.com/evernote/index.php?file=EvernoteMac (not the Mac App Store).

What do you mean the app won't launch? Is it crashing? Does it take a long time? It sounds like you may want to talk to tech support if this download doesn't work.

Assuming your client synched the last time you were able to access it, all of your notes and notebooks should be fine.

You can also use the web client to make sure everything is in place, prior to a reinstall.
