(Archived) Copy Share URL of a Note Within a Shared Notebook

There is a real need in my company to be able to share the URL of a single note with others within or outside outside the organization. This is no problem in a normal notebook. We have discovered that we cannot do this for notes in our shared notebooks. We are all premium users and the permissions are set to the highest level (Modify and Invite Others).

It seems more than odd that all users are able to invite others to view the entire notebook, but you cannot share the link for a single note.

Does anyone know why we are unable to do this, if Evernote is planning to fix this feature, or if there are any good workarounds?

The problem is that the note links are relative to what you have in your account. We'll be making significant upgrades to this system in the near future, but for now, you can always copy the public note URLs instead. CMD-/ is a great shortcut for this too.

People who share my notebook can't use "copy public note URL" within MAC Evernote app, the option is disabled. Is there a solution for this? I can do that as the notebook owner.

Other shared notebook recipients are not allowed to share single notes that belong to you unless you are members of the same Evernote Business.
