gc87 0
I seem to be having a problem using web clipper. It worked yesterday, but as of today the message "due to the restrictions set by the browser you cannot clip this page" always comes up now on safari, so I can't clip anything. What restrictions do you think have been put on and how do I alleviate this problem?Thank you in advance. Link to comment
hugsid 0
I'm having the same issue. Web clipper was working until very recently. Link to comment
jbignert 473
Hi all, we cannot reproduce this at this point. Any chance you can send over a screenshot of what this looks like and also please post exact Safari version. Link to comment
syncan 0
This happens to me in Safari 6.0.2, when right-clicking and choosing "Save full page to Evernote". However, it's very important to note that (in my case specifically) this only happens when trying to clip content from a local folder (e.g. an HTML-based help document). So, I imagine this is due to security sandbox issues (?) (I receive a similar note in all browsers, when trying to clip via the extension icon.)Again, I'm not sure if the above-mentioned issues or OP have this issue with remote or locally-hosted content. NW10 0
I've just tested this on 10.8.2 and Safari 6.0.2 and I get the same dialogue box when right clicking (ctrl + mouse click) ... "Due to the restrictions set by the browser, you cannot clip this page". However after a couple of seconds the page is clipped and when synchronised the clipping appears in the correct Notebook. In addition to this problem my menu icon is not working which is being discussed in this thread Link to comment
