(Archived) What does "Sync at start" mean?

What does the option "Sync at start" mean?

"Sync at start of Evernote" or "Sync at start of the phone"?

I guess it meens "Sync at start of the phone". But I am not sure because Evernote on Android sometimes seems to sync just when I start Evernote.

@mrossk,

If Evernote is off, It appears to sync immediately in order to provide up-to-date notes when started.

If my phone is in "Airplane" mode, I get a "Last sync Failed" indicator every time.
