(Archived) Windows Mobile = No Tags?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Am I missing something?

Windows Mobile Version...

1) I don't see a way to filter my notes by SELECTING FROM A LIST OF EXISTING TAGS. (Ouch! That's pretty important to me.)

2) I don't see a way to ADD an EXISTING tag to a new/revised note, nor how to CREATE NEW tags. (Ouch! That's pretty important to me.)

If I'm not missing something and these capabilities don't exist in the Windows Mobile version...consider these items as important feature requests (I'm sure I far from being the only one who wants these features if they don't exist)

Bye & thanks!

Due to the UI limitations of mobile platforms, we've tried to reduce the number of UI controls that you need to navigate through on the mobile platform. This allows you to do core operations frequently, but isn't a full replacement for everything you can do from a desktop computer.

For now, you can search for notes that have a tag by typing it into the search box ... either just type the name (to find all notes with that word in the tag or body), or restrict it to just tags like this:

tag:"cooking"

All you'd have to do is add a Tag Menu in the "Options" sub-menu (right softkey when viewing a note) I speak for many that use tagging constantly with their notes, and truly deem it as one of evernotes core functions

PS- WM Client is good, I just wish I could edit ink notes.
