(Archived) updating Android database after new ROM

HI,

Been using EN for many years, but first time with problem which I can not find a satisfactory answer....

I am a user of the Android app and had installed custom ROMs on my phone several times. Everytime after a new ROM installation, I need to download the complete EN database on my phone (again!), which would take more than a few hours (about 4000+ notes at the moment).

Is there a faster way of doing this? Since the "old" database is already on my phone, why the need for a fresh download of everything?
