(Archived) V5: Create local notebook

Hi, am i just to dumb to set up a new local notebook or is there no practiseable way to do this?

Everytime i create a new one it automatically gets a sync one?

Can anybody advice whether i am a dutchbag or not?

I presume you are right clicking and trying from there - it doesn't work, I think it's a bug.

Try using the New Notebook button in the top left.

I had a some problem.

When you switch for example to Atlas view and choose New notebook in menu, pop-up will be displayed with option to define local notebook.

Confirming this is a bug and will be fixed in the next release. You can still create a local notebook if you are not in the notebook view by clicking file, new notebook then selecting local. This is a workaround but not optimal.

As stated before, the FILE->New Notebook->choose local on dialog works in the Atlas View. I'm glad this is being fixed. This would be a deal breaker for me to use Evernote since I do not want all notes out in the cloud.

Thanks for the info Phil Dean. I was really upset with this bug; I thought my relationship with Evernote was over. The work around and the bug fix will save it! To me this is an absolutely essential capability for Evernote and I think you guys and gals should rush a patch out for this.
