(Archived) Desktop version crashes immediately when opened

Hello,

Starting yesterday, when I open up the desktop version of Evernote, it crashes immediately. The pop up says Fatal Error - program must close. I am able to use the metro app version and all other mobile versions of Evernote.

Any ideas?

I have Windows 8 Pro. Everything had been working fine until yesterday.
