(Archived) Mustbe logged in to Evernote to save a Skitch image?

I think I read this in the User Guide for Skitch, but just to double check:

Now that Skitch has been acquired by Evernote, now I must be logged into Evernote in order to simply save a Skitch image to my desktop? It seems you can email, post, message, etc, an image, but not just save it to a folder.

Although I have it, I don't really use Evernote. I'd prefer to not have to log in (find username & password, go back, log in every time) and be tied to one program I dont use, in order to use another program... Skitch is supposed to be quick.
