(Archived) Missing words in jpg OCR - how do I avoid this problem?

I am starting to use Evernote OCR, but sometimes it misses words and I don't understand why. For example:

This is a note I created to test the OCR, and it has recognised some of the words in the image (e.g. "hotel", "cairo" and "powered by npc"). However it has not recognised "Karvin". This sort of missing word makes it very difficult to use evernote to keep track of my receipts. Manually reviewing each note to make sure that the OCR has worked makes Evernote much less useful, is there any way to avoid this problem?

Update: It recognises other words in this image, e.g. Mohamed and Ebeid - it's just missing what is arguably the most important one (Karvin, the name of the hotel!).

Any suggestions on how to diagnose or avoid this problem would be great!
