AccordingToMe 13 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I am new to using Evernote but so far I absolutely love it. Currently, I am running it on android, ios, and windows and while most of the functionality can be found somewhere in the app in many respects the look and feel is so different that it feels like I am using totally different programs. Does the company have plans to create a universal user interface so that the look and feel is consistent regardless of the platform being used at any given time? If so, what is the timeline?
Level 5 jbenson2 2,149 Posted October 24, 2012 Level 5 Posted October 24, 2012 Evernote does not reveal its timeline, but they have said one of their ongoing goals is to achieve consistency across platforms.
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted October 24, 2012 Level 5* Posted October 24, 2012 I would put that goal as desiring to achieve feature parity across platforms, but I am also guessing that there's a pull towards honoring each client's underlying platform's (OS and form factor) standards, so I doubt that there will be a "universal user interface" identical across all platforms.
