(Archived) Adding lots of e-mails from Outlook(preventing EN from opening windows)

Hi,

I'm trying out the Getting Things Done system using Evernote, and I'm adding many e-mails at once from Outlook by using the "Add to Evernote" button.

Is there a way to prevent EverNote from opening a window for each e-mail? If I add 30-40 e-mails at once, it opens 30-40 new windows.

If by "window", you mean "note", in Outlook 2003, if you select several emails & forward them directly to Evernote using your EN email address, they end up as one note. I can't say if all versions of Outlook do the same thing. Your EN email address can be found by logging into the web client & going to settings.

I actually meant using the "Add to Evernote" button. If you select 10 e-mails, it pops up 10 windows when it adds them.

I think what you are looking for is under Tools => Clipping Preferences. Try unchecking one of the Clipping Options and do an Add to make sure.
